Tennis/golf elbow tape

PURPOSE: Taping allows the load on the tendon attachment to be changed so that the maximum load is shifted to another part of the tendon attachment, relieving the damaged part of the tendon attachment.

TAPING: Just below the inner and outer elbow prominences (medial and lateral epicondyle), place one or two ‘tape anchors’ around the forearm in a circular pattern. Of course, the tape should not be applied so tightly that it causes discomfort from the forearm or hand (cold sensation, sleeping sensation).
